Time

Whatup! Whatup!

Had the most amazing weekend. Love came home with after the screening of, "Ding Sana Kita." I must say the movie is very tear-jerking. For almost the entire movie, I didn't cry but when the ending came, it hit me, BAD. Just when you thought you could escape from all the sadness, the movie hits with back-to-back-to-back scenes that really get your eyes watery. And yes, this is coming from a guy who doesn't normally cry from sad scenes from a movie.

So going back to the weekend, Love was over for 3days and 3nights. I promised her that we wouldn't stay around the house a lot, and that we did.

First Night. Basically, we were tired. Love had to worry about her film screening and me with Thesis. We did a few things, hang out with my sister, ate a little more, and watched Cougar Town. After that it was straight to bed, and the rest was history (Love, if you're reading this, you know what happened. HAHAHA.).

First Day. Although we slept half the day off, I still tried to fulfill my promise to Love that I'd take her out of the house and into the city. First stop was the newly-opened Walter Mart in San Fernando. It was 3 minutes away from the house via car, so that was the first thing we wanted to see, plus my sister tagged along and she wanted to see what was up. We bought a lot of stuff (sponsored by Dad. Thanks, Dad!) and I must say, we spent a little bit too much. Hahaha. Next stop, was Marquee Mall. I've only been there a few times, and I wanted to take Love there. We got there, the place wasn't packed and it was very spacious (Thank God). We walked around and bought a few things: food (for us and for the dog), little "a-bu-but" for Gia, and Stickfas for me. After Marquee, Gia wanted to hit Grandmama's House, so it was off the "Big House". Night was capped off with Dinner, time with Gia, a Mid-night snack and the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Second Day. Again, Love and I slept half the day off, but we at least we had plans. It was Lasagna Day, and Love had already scouted for the ingredients we needed to make Lasagna. It was off to Walter Mart to nab the ingridients (with a little on the side shopping from Gia, of course) and the kitchen was rockin' from 5pm to 7pm. Dinner was awesome, as the Lasagna tasted awesome! But, I only had 1-1/2 helpings. Haha. The highlight of the night was thesis-work going well and popcorn-movie night with Love. 500 Days of Summer.

Third Day. It was our last day at home. We still made it an exciting day for us. We planned to do some work for my thesis, but it was offset. I can manage, don't worry. Anyway, it was SM Day for Love, Gia and myself. Love bought "Freakonomics" for class, and Gia and I were able to do a little window shopping. I saw these watches that I flipped out for. Plus, I wanted these cheap shirts that looked really good, but I was short on cash. Manila was next for me and Love.

Time passes quick when you have fun. I had a blast this weekend. How was yours?
