Today. Today was tiring, yet a little exciting, but at the same time a little risky. Heading to Mall of Asia after Christmas and on a Sunday is a bad idea. Well, sort of.
"The Accidental Plan"
Yesterday, Dad had planned outta the blue to get outta the province and hit Manila to crash a mall. He's never been to Mall of Asia 'till today, so we decided to hit it up. The day started a little crazy. First, we all woke up late. The plan was to leave at 8am, we ended waking up at that time and leaving at 9.
Second, the Landcruiser's back right tire went flat. So we had to turn around and nab another.
Third, Dad was hecka nervous on the road. But hey, at least we still got there. Haha.
The first agenda of the day was the "Great American Circus" at the SMX Convention Center. It was a showcase of the classic Circus acts widely known by people of all ages. Clowns, Acrobats and what-not. It was there. But I must comment on the show's outcome: 1) The stars of the show looked tired. You could easily spot their lack of energy through their body language. It lacked energy. Well, gotta cut'em some slack. They do 3 shows a day with only 1 hour in-between 'em. 2) It was kinda short. 2 hours blew by really really fast. 3) The seating was awful. Poorly planned seating. That's all.
It's refreshing to see the Circus after all these years. Nothing's new to me, but it just brought back a few memories of my childhood.
After the Circus, lunch, a little shopping, walking around, waited for the fireworks that never showed up, Gia grabbed a Crepe and left for Pampanga.
Pics? Just some of the stuff I got to capture:
The ticket worth 1350php
Gia and her bored self.
Some of the things I bought with my money and some from Dad:
