One Beat. One Sound. One Mic.: Free Man

Whatup! Whatup!

Today is the day. The day I can truly say that I'm free. Just one more signature, I'm a free man. Say hello, to graduation. Thesis is almost done. I just need a few more signatures. The weight on my shoulders is gone and I feel so much lighter. I had a huge smile on my face afterwards. Nothing beats that feeling deep inside.

"Thesis is a B****"

Yesterday, I had finalized my thesis. Revisions were finished and all that was needed was for my panel to sign the CD Label required for submission. It just sucks that I have to keep running after my panel. They tell they're free, next thing you know, they tell you they're busy or wait just a moment (the moment becomes hours). None of that matters now. All I know is that I'm almost there. Just a little more 'til the promise land.

"Once More the Year Ends"

Before I went to school to get my revisions checked, I-Soul was to perform at the ICC (Institutional Christmas Celebration). Songs were the Filipino Disco Medley, Classic Filipino Caroling Songs, Elevator by David Archuleta and Someday at Christmas by The Jackson Five. It was fun being on stage with I-Soul again. I missed 'em, because I was so caught up in thesis I barely had time to make Mariella's Christmas Party, rehearsals and booth manning for Star Manila 2011. So, I thought I'd make it up to them by being on stage with them before the year ends. I had fun. Sure, the sound system sucked and we hardly remembered our lines, but at least I got to be on stage with people I love dearly.

"All You Can Eat"

After all the crap with thesis and ICC was settled, I made sure I had time with Love. I've missed her for the past few days, so I figured we'd go out for our Christmas Dinner. We don't get to Christmas together just yet, so we celebrated Christmas before I go back to the province to spend Christmas. My aunt sent me my birthday money for next month, so I used that to fund our date.

Where we ate. The lines were hecka long. I got cranky, but I knew Love wanted to eat here, so no matter what, I stayed with her, even if I wanted to transfer. But hey, it was worth the wait. No bad for 600php a head.
