Lost in Transition

Whatup! Whatup!

So 2011 is in trend and my blog has been sitting on the bench for a while. No new thoughts have been flowing into my head and that's sorta weird. What to tell you? I'm not sure.

"From the Battlefield to the Courts"

So, SemperFi decided to take a break from the adrenaline rush of Airsoft. This time, they setup a Basketball tournament for the boys to see who got game. There are four teams: Red, Blue, Green and Black. They put me in the Green Team as a last minute addition. Good thing I got it. I wanted to show the boys that I got game. And that I did. In my first game versus the Blue Team, I scored 23 points, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 rebounds. Not my usual numbers when I play with Legends. Haha. For Legends I average about 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and half a block per game. My game with SF was really good. I've got something to prove. Maybe when other leagues open here, I'll bring my game.

"When Dad wasn't home"

Last weekend, Dad went out riding with his buddies to Baguio. So, I had to take care of the house and my sister for the weekend. It was pretty awesome. I got spend some time with my sister. She missed me a lot. I realized that I've been missing a lot of home lately. This time was time to be at home. I got to ball a little bit, but the rains sorta ruined it. It's all good the idea of home was a really good reason to miss out on the courts for a while.

"Back to the Big City"

After the weekend, it was back to reality. Back to school.  Time to finish up what's left of my college life. I'm soooo close to graduating, I can almost taste it, I can almost feel it. Hey, at least I have time for my other stuff. My subjects are light this term. NO THESIS, NO MAJORS, just the plain old General Education Subjects. I spend more time with Love, chill with my Innersoul Familia, play ball, hit the gym again and catch up on things I've missed on for the past six months. I can't believe it's been that long since I've been really FREE. Freedom is sweet and so is the idea of being able to relax. There's nothing like being able to kick your feet back and watch the show. That's my life right now, and I'm loving it.
